H & R Block offered to put my income tax refund on their Emerald Card. Claiming a portion of it would come quicker. When I asked if there was a charge the tax preparer said'"No." The refund, nor a portion, came any quicker. Now I am told I. Order to take my money off of the card to use it as cash, they will charge me $35.00 fee. If I with draw money from an ATM there is a fee as well per transaction.

I hate to say this but its on YOU to read the information provided to YOU. How is it THIER fault?? THEY cant possibly know ALL of the applicable fees!!! THEY are NOT the ones who run or own the PREPAID card service!!! If you need to have cash you go to a STORE and make a purchase and ask for cash back!!! I swear!! Its like we have accepted IGNORANCE as the NORM!!!! At WHAT point did YOU CHOSE to NOT READ???? Or was it all those big words and tiny print that confused you?

Why is it I could FIND and most importantly READ the disclosures for the use of this card and I don't even have one??? You come here and act surprised at the terms and conditions as if this is some feeble way to discredit them. Bottom line is those terms and conditions were disclosed to you as they are with ANY card user and YOU chose to NOT even read them!
