I received a check in the mail for the amount of $2980.00 stating that it was to be used to cover the administrative payment and clearance fees for my winnings of $47,000 from a 2007 Sweepstake drawing that was done by computerized drawing ballot system from one of the following: Readers Digest, Publishers Clearing House, Online Sweepstakes, Internet Games etc.

The check looks like a real check along with a check number 00000853212. In the uper left hand courner has the name Morgan Stanley and the Harborside Financial Services and their address appers under that.

The check is drawn on CITIBANK DELAWARE, One Penn's Way New Castle, DE 19720. The best that I can tell the check in signed be a Alon Schemer. In the letter that came with the check it states that my anent is Monica Davis and to contact her at 1-705-770-2237, but when you call the number it has a recording saying that the mail box is full. It goes on to give me my claim number and that they advise me to keep it confidentially secured until my claim is processed and funds are remitted. After I was infromed all the information that they thought I needed the letter was signed by Keith Davis, Prize Co-Ordinator.

The on the right side of his name was a bar code and some type of numbers under the bar code like it was an account number or something.

I have entered sweepstakes through the mail and have online where I have bought games for my kids. The olny reason I looked up the companies name on Google was because I had seen letters to report anything on this nature and I also watched a program on 20/20 about the same thing.
