HEARTLAND AMERICA MERCHANDISE SELLING THROUGH MAIL! consumer deception! Did not say membership was yearly, did not mention My name being sold! Chaska Minnesota

Sir/ma'am: 

         1) This company (Heartland America,) sold my name without my permission! I reported it twice...one time a supervisor, name forgotten, said she was sorry and will not happen again! This was sometime during the summer of 2013! As I called to have them discontinue sending me their catalog, I also mentioned to "SIERRA," not to have company officials sell my name! This was on Friday, October 3, 2014!

         2) Regarding their membership, which cost me $20.00, I had no idea that it was to be renewed every year! 

         3) I bought a TV antenna, which had to be assembled, which was laborious, When I found that the one of the filaments was cracked at a critical juncture with other elements, which hampered reception, but was too much trouble to dis-assemble and return! I did not buy products from that time on! That was approximately March of 2013!
