i am a single mother of two trying to do the right thing and get my bills paid. i went on the internet to debt settlement and ended up going through hess kennedy law firm.

i felt good about it. they told me my first two payments of $350 would be the fees then my payment of $209 every month would go to my bills. the 23rd of every month they would take it right out of my account.

well i would never hear from them i always had to call them. the creditors were still calling me some saying they called hess kennedy and they said i wasnt a client of theirs.

i would call them and they would reassure me everything was ok. they would tell me not to talk to the creditors. there came a time when they were going to settle with one of my creditors and it ended up not going through so i started to get real suspicious.

i had been paying them for about 10 months and they did nothing for me. none of my bills were paid everything was worse so i called to cancel the program. they took over $2000 from me and i only accumulated $324 the rest was fees. they mailed me my $324 and the check bounced. i called them and they told me their account was frozen.

thats where i am at right now. i havent recieved anything from them but i do plan on fighting them until i get my money back.
