In August, 2006, we purchased a HP All In One Printer. We did not use the print pictures function until October. When we tried to use it, the picture paper would not feed. After several conversations and attempts to fix, HP agreed to "replace" the printer wil a "new" one. Having "been there" before, we asked if we would be getting a new printer or a refurbished one. The answer was "whatever we have on hand." We spoke with some sort of executive with HP and were told that is their policy: period. We explained that the printer was less than 2 months old and a used/refurbished/etc. printer was not acceptable. Was told we have no choice.

The "new" printer was sent to us. (We had to provide a credit card number in case we didn't return the original printer.) We received the replacement printer. What a disgusting joke. The printer had scratches and scuffs on it, had dust/dirt on the inside and was obviously misused. We called HP and told them we would be returning the replacement unit. We will NEVER purchase another HP product. It is pathetic that consumers can be treated this way with no recourse. HP should just state up front that their products come without any warranty.
