 I was trying to book a business trip hotel online. Hotwire changed the dates of my trip. No final verification so I could check it. When I called customer service, waited over an hour and was told it was a 'hot rate' and non-refundable. Emailed and received an email back tellung me to call. Tried calling, but wait time was again an hour.

Hotwire I booked a car rental through Hotwire.com. I decided I was going to take my own personal vehicle and called Hotwire an hour after I booked the reservations for the car. The lady on the other end asked me my reason and I told her I decided to take my own personal vehicle, she stated indirectly, that wasn't a good reason and they couldn't cancel the reservations.
