Hotwire.com Misleading Hotwire Company Screwing Consumers Daily Internet

 Hotwire misleads first time viditors to their website at www.hotwire.com by claiming lower rates to mystery hotels uncovered after purchase. I purchased hotel that turned out being Best Western La Posada in Fillmore, California. Hotwire made no mention of the number of beds or reference thereto until after purchase when the confirmation sheet came out. The hotel cannot supply two beds since books although Hotwire claims the hotel will sleep the number of guests. There are situations where one bed wont do and not informing the consumer until after purchase is misleading. The hotel also said they are full on the check in date and that hotwire should not have sold anymore rooms. I called hotwire but they hung up on me twice. Numerous calls and emails later reached supervisor but still Hotwire refused to transfer. Customer service is horrible and all customer service from outside the U.S. (india). After supervisor claims he cant transfer or help he asks is there anything else he can help me with, which doesnt make sence since Hotwire didnt help me at all. I looked online and there are countless numerous complaints against Hotwire from consumers ranging to complaints posted everywhere from BBB to CA Attorney General to Ripoff Report to Consumer Sites to Everywhere! Avoid Hotwire at all costs and value your money. Hopefully one day Hotwire will be shut down since they constantly scam and cheat people by misleading them in sales for lodging, vehicles, travel, etc.
