Hughes Net Internet SCAM...SLOW INTERNET Nationwide

I also have had Hughesnet installed a few months ago. When I first got hooked up I was to pay $49 per month for my service. At first the speed was pretty good but after about 2 weeks or so the speed went so low I couldn't watch a video, it took about 3 minutes to load a page. I contacted Hughesnet about this and they informed me that I had used up all my available data and my internet had been slowed down but I could use my "bonus time", if I wanted to watch videos or have faster speed between the hours of 2am and 6am. Who wants to be on the computer at those hours. So they said I could upgrade my plan to $69 per month and have more time available. So I upgraged to $69 per month. After about 2 weeks, same thing, I am now at $89 per month and I still have to watch video's mostly in the am. I'm good for about 2 weeks, then I'm back to snail speed. They also lock you into a 2 year agreement, that I hope to be able to get rid of because I can not continue to pay $89 per month for service that is substandard and very frustrating. Paying your bill on line at Hughes net is a huge pain in the neck. Nothing on the site works properly leaving your re-entering information over and over again and most times it just doesn't work.

 So yes, run run run because Hughesnet is a huge let down.
