 I was attending school from 2009-2013. I started noticing I had a balance about a year into school. When I was asking about the balance nobody to the financial aid office I was told not to worry about it. The balance started growing larger and larger. I then kept asking ad still no valid reasons or answers. One day I go to the office and all the department had been fired so I called th Chicago office and spoke with someone and he was able get he balance down some originally then informed he would be on vacation an we would continue with trying to figure things it once he got back. I had spoken to him once more and he needed more information and then I was calling his office I kept getting voicemail for a week so finally I was informed he too had been let go. This all seemed fishy so I spiked to my career advisor she sent an email and they took off $1k. Still leaving me to owe 11000. I wasn't getting answers and then she was also let go. Something isn't right about this and now I have this balance as a collection on my credit reports. This is keeping me from applying for new types of credit.
