I was requested to give my account number for a $2.97 charge. I cancelled within minutes as i would need a computer and i don't have one. Five days later $139.95 was charged to my account. I was'nt aware of this until I received my current bank statement.I had to borrow a computer as they don't give a full phone number. When i called they stated i could not get a refund. The man i spoke to refused to let me talk to a supervisor as "they are on other calls". I live on a fixed income and will not be able to buy food as a result of this.
EDitor's Suggestions on how to get your money back!
HERE IS WHAT RIP-OFF REPORT SUGGESTS YOU DO:
Go to your bank within 60 days of the charge, or as soon as you know about the charge, don't delay, and tell them that there has been fraudulent activity within your account. Explain that you wish to file a dispute, and demand that they assist you in accordance with Federal Regulation E.
According to the majority of victims interviewed by Rip-off Report, those who immediately called their banks to dispute the charges did not get very far. Many victims got the following responses from their banks: we could not do anything for you or you waited too long; it has been more than 60 days.
If the bank is says that you have waited too long, explain to them how you called their 800 number as soon as the charges were found, and were told by the bank that nothing could be done. Remind the bank that they failed to assist you properly at the 800 #, and instead, provided you with an inadequate explanation of your right to dispute. Tell the bank that it's their fault time has expired, and since they gave you the wrong info to begin with, they will just have to deal with it, take the loss and reverse the charges.
Tell them the truth; this was unauthorized and your account was NOT to be charged! Keep emphasizing how you never authorized anything! Direct them to the hundreds of victims reports that were filed on Rip-off Report.com. And if you're at the bank, walk them over to their computer and make them go to this site! If you are on the phone with them, tell them you will wait while they access this site! Either way, be persistent!
DO NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER!
Let them know nicely, that you were advised to Report them (the Bank) and this situation to the Banking Commission in your state. Since each state has a different name for the agency/controller over banks, find that name before you call or get to the bank so you can throw it in their face. The more knowledgeable you appear to be, the further you will get.
And just continue to demand the Federal Regulation E form! The bank CAN, MUST and WILL reverse the charge! But, you must be persistent; ask to speak to the supervisor or the area manager for all the branches in the state.
Let the bank personnel know you are meeting with the media later in the day, that you would much rather they do the right thing (as most other banks have) by looking at the complaints and immediately reversing the charge(s) to your account; no matter how long ago it was. Be sure to call the Media if necessary so you are telling the truth.
If you have to, be loud (but nice) in front of other customers. If you are just calling by phone, the above tactics should still work. The bank can easily fax or mail to you the Federal Regulation E dispute form.
CHARGES TO YOUR CREDIT CARD
If the charge was to your credit card (not debit card, check card, or checking account), contact the credit card company as soon as possible to request a dispute form. Consumers usually have a little longer to dispute fraudulent credit card charges (up to 6 months), but it is better to act right away. In this type of situation, credit card disputes are usually successful since fraudulent companies often won't contest the disputed charge. In rare cases, credit card companies will review disputes, but refuse to reverse the charges. If this occurs, complain to a manager and let them know you will be filing a report here.
Remember Don't let them get away with it! Make sure they make the Rip-off Report .. The more Reports filed on a Company or individual, the more likely it is that the authorities, media and attorneys will want to take action.
And good luck Let us know how you do!

This response is not for the original poster of this complaint.
Customer continues to be combative after repeated attempts to resolve his account issues. Customer will not provide his contact information in order to for us to locate his account and assure that his account is either cancelled or refunded. Based on the fact that we have repeatedly asked him for additional contact information and he refuses to work with us and continues to raise points that have nothing to do with his issues. He demands a refund, but registered his complaint under a fake name. He demands that ICm stand behind our company and provide him a refund, but he will not even stand behind his own complaint and give his real name. It is easy to stand behind a fake name and throw stones at others, instead of acting professional, as he demands of others, and work towards a solution instead of looking for a battle. A battle that can be avoided if he would provide any additional contact information instead of a fake name.

Your website is NOT SECURE.

Hey employee!!!
Explain why the verisign check logo on your website is a FAKE!!! I verified this with Verisign.
Explain why Geotrust does NOT LIST your website!!!!
Explain why Truste does not list your website!!!
Explain why the URL for your website begins with HTTP!!!
Explain why you are NOT USING A TLS/SSL certificate! I know why-because IF you use TLS/SSL the certificate would identify the company.
This website collects personal information, including credit card information WITHOUT USING SECURE SOCKET LAYER /TRANSPORT LAYER SECURITY encryption!
Dont believe me? Go to these URLs and see for yourself!!! The first clue is that the URL in the address line begins with HTTP: -addresses that use TLS/SSL begin with HTTPS:
http://www.internetprofitsuccesssystem.com/c/GHD73H9D9IAK0/default.aspx?itm=R00003&vn=homepage&ex=0
http://www.internetprofitsuccesssystem.com/c/GHD73H9D9IAK0/Page2.aspx?ex=0
This website demands name, address, city, state, telephone number, email address, CREDIT CARD NUMBER, credit card expiration date, credit card type, and credit card CVV#.
The communication from the consumer to this website is NOT SECURE WITH TLS/SSL ENCRYPTION! There is no TLS/SSL Certificate! Without a TSL/SSL certificate, the consumer has NO IDEA what company/whos website they are giving their personal and credit card information!!!
Further, on their page where they want credit card information, they have 3 logos; Verisign check, Geotrust, and Truste. The Verisign logo is a FAKE because it doesnt link to verisign and an SSL certificate (verified with www.verisign.com.) The www.GeoTrust.com website does NOT LIST this website as secure, and the www.Truste.com website does not list them as secure!
So, how is this website secure for ecommerce? Why would any website have any of these logos on their page when they are not using TLS/SSL encryption and dont appear to have a TLS/SSL certificate?
Lets see one of their employees attempt to explain this!!! How is this website secure when the URL begins with HTTP: ? What authority has granted this website a TLS/SSL certificate?
Take your time, well wait.
When youre done dancing around this, perhaps youll explain why your company is in the United Kingdom? Why dont you folks give the complete registered name of your company along with the location? The UK covers a lot of ground. Why dont you identify exactly who your company is and where your company located?
Oh, wait! Then folks would KNOW WHAT LEGAL JURISDICTION your business falls under and what authorities to complain to about your practices!!! We cant have that, can we mate?

The 3 day trial is 3 days from the day the client signed up. Actually the $139.95 is billed on the 4th day after the signup.
The $2.97 charge is drafted immediately upon signup. At the same time the $139.95 is temporarily authorized on their account, which holds those funds for us. If they do not cancel during the 3 day trial period the $139.5 charge is then drafted from the account based on the initial authorization we placed on their account.
If they cancel within the 3 day trial period, the authorization for the funds is lifted and the money is again available for them in their account.
The $139.95 charge is initially placed on Pending Status in their account. That pending states remains until the funds are drafted the hold is lifted.
