My wife purchased a Dooney & Burke purse from ilovedooney.com for Christmas for our daughter. When she opened the gift she was happy to get it but said this was not the purse she really wanted. My wife got on line to arrange an exchange but was told she could not return the item because it was beyond the 14-day return window. She was also told that ilovedooney.com does not make exchanges. This was a Christmas gift purchased on November 21. When are we supposed to buy Christmas gifts? The day before Christmas? What really gripes me is their refusal to respond to my repeated attempts to contact them. I strongly recommend to anyone who wants to buy a purse on line: Do not buy from ilovedooney.com under any circumstances.
