I was hit by another person who uses Infinity and it has been a nightmare since. Everything leading up to actually getting the car fixed has been good, but little did I know I was going to experience this when working with a "professional" company.

After they came out to give me an estimate on my car, they said they would send over a check for that amount and it should arrive shortly. 2 weeks pass and still no check. I thought this was strange but figured I would get the car into the shop, thinking I could just call and hve them send it over ASAP.

I call my adjuster Colleen Rhemm, several times that week and leave several messages with no returned call. Early the next week I finally get a hold of her - frusterated I ask "did you receive my messages?" She replies in a rude tone "I receive alot of messages."

I proceed to explain the situation to her and that I have to pick up the car in two days from the repair shop. Being that I do not have the check, I mention that I would have to cover the cost of it myself if they cannot send it in time (she cut me off several times during this explanation btw, and didn't even seem like she was listening). For this reason, I request that they overnight the check so I can have it for when I pick up the car. She says "we don't do that" and insisted on re-sending the check normally. After insisting a couple of times that they overnight it with no flex on her end, I decided to move onto the next issue - the rental car.

I explain to her that due to my line of work, I need to have a rental car for when my car is in the shop (a usual thing insurance deals with) and that they would need to cover the cost of that. She is rude once again as I am explaining this and says the car is "drivable" so they will not be covering a rental. Confused (because even if it drivable, it doesn't changed the fact that it needs to fixed in the shop), I insisted that they cover the cost. She replies "no" and hangs up the phone.

Since this phone call a week ago, I have tried calling Colleen, and her two supervisors countless times - leaving message after message with no returned call. I still have not received the check or any instructions on how to have them cover the cost of the rental car. Due to this, I am now $1,000.00 in the hole.

Can anyone help with this? Any suggestions? How could I take legal action if necessary?

-Ryan
