INTELIUS.COM PEOPLE SEARCH --> SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!!!!!!

I paid for an Intelius background search to find my missing 85-year-old aunt. The information I paid for through Intelius was bogus. We sent police to do a 'welfare check' at the addresses Intelius gave (from utility records --really???) and the addresses did not exist, even when double-checked through county tax assessor's records!  

When I asked for a refund (1 hour wait time in holding queue on phone), Intelius refused stating that when you pay them (-- even talked to a manager but she would not budge on a refund), you agree that the information provided is "AS IS." I could not see ANY warning on their website pages warning that the information they provide is, "AS IS." 

You will do just as good or better looking through a telephone directory when trying to find a loved-one.  What happened to the USC code of purchasing in "good-faith?"    

BOTTOM LINE: THE INFORMATION YOU PAY INTELIUS FOR IS NOT VERIFIED BY INTELIUS , CAN/MOST LIKELY BE BOGUS OR AT LEAST VERY OLD DATA (>10 years), AND THEY WILL NOT HONOR ANY CREDIT CARD CHARGE-BACK FOR SELLING YOU BAD GOODS despite your purchase in good faith. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THEIR SLICK WEBSITE OR THE REVIEW SITES THEY HAVE PAID FOR TO OBTAIN GOOD REVIEWS, INTELIUS IS A SCAM OPERATION!!!!!!!!!!
