Ipage.com Inompetant Nationwide

Incompetant company!!!  Our non-profit pet rescue organization has been using Ipage.com as both a web host and to obtain our domain name for the past several years with minimal issues until recently when I attempted to log on to our website and to the Ipage.com site, to no avail.  

After speaking with a very unhelpfull telephone representative, I was told that our domain name and website had expired less than one month ago.  I was also told that our domain name is currently in a redemption period whereby we could redeem our name for a $160 fee, however, we could not restore our web page.

I spent numerous hours building our organization's web page.  Not only did our web page have information pertaining to our rescue organization, it also contained photos of all of the dogs we previously adopted, a paypal button, a Facebook button, and much, much more.  

Our organization was never sent a renewal notice or any other type of notice warning us that our web page and domain name were in jepardy of expiring.  We were never sent any email notices, never received any phone reminders or hard copy notices through the mail.  

After speaking to the telephone representative for about 20 minutes, I received absolutely no resolve.  I was not offered a discount for future services, not offered assistance in rebuilding our web page, not offered an apology, not offered empathy.  In fact, I was not offered anything at all in terms of helping our non-profit pet rescue organization re-establish our web page.  I was merely told that our website was gone.  

I am disgusted with the lack of assistance from Ipage.com and the lack of customer care that I would have liked to receive.  If the rep I spoke to showed the least bit of customer service, I may not have written this report.
