HugeDomains.com, iPage.com Stole my domain while in redemption period Denver Colorado

I had a domain for 14 years; I had switched my hosting package to iPage.com.  My domain was getting close to expiration and I had submitted my CC info through the billing on the iPage website, it looked like it had gone through, but didn't.  I have a very busy schedule, I checked my email one day and saw that my domain had expired (when I thought the payment had gone through), the domain was now in redemption.  I stayed in contact with iPage about the domain, and even had the payment I thought I made applied to another domain I owned.  

I was told the domain would be out of redemption on August 19, and at that point I could buy it again, or I could pay 180 dollars to get it out of redemption.  I didn't have 180$, so I waited.  I was also informed that it would be safe that noone else could buy it while in redemption and that I was the only one that could pay for it to be out of redemption. 

On August 19th, I signed in to iPage to re-buy my domain and it was sold to HugeDomains.com on August 17th, while it was still in redemption.

I have since contacted HugeDomains several times to try and get it back, even offered up other domain names, they absolutely will not give it back to me, and at first wanted to charge 2950.00$ for it, since then they have lowered the cost to 1495.00$  I don't think how this transpired is legal by any means, even through iCANN, but iPage told me that because of iCANN, bidders can bid on domains while in redemption period.  

iPage lied to me about the domain being safe while in redemption additionally their on line payment system was faulty and still is, resulting in the late payment in the first place.  The other domains I have through iPage were in jeapordy of being lost just recently, because of the faulty payment system, I  had to call them to push the payment through, after which I canceled any services with them.
