IPayment, Inc. Read your contract! I did not. Calabasas California

So I signed a contract with iPayment for my credit card processing and thought there was no termination fee. I was given a long document to fill out and return to the company. The guy selling me, who I found out does not work for iPayment, told me there was no early termination fee. Well long story short, I wanted to close the business and found out they were going to charge me $350 for the early termination. They had my contract that I signed on file, and sure enough the fee was on the tiny type on the back. Thankfully I was able to convince them to waive the fee and let me close, but I was so surprised that the fee was there in the first place. If there is anything I could say to other people looking for a credit card processor, I would say read ALL of your contract and keep a file on copy.
