If they actually can talk some sucker into it (and i cant understand why people would fall for this) they have you go through a series of steps and  infect your computer station with a remote access program and take controll of your system. then hold your comuter hostage and charge you an amount of money. If you don't pay the amount then you're locked out and would have to hire a real computer tech locally to repair the lock out .
