I purchased 1 new Verizon cell phone on 12/16/11 for 333.15 and 2 more the next day for my wife and son, for 666.30 from a Verizon Store (not a corporate owned one as I later found out) nevertheless goes by the name italk-Verizon and let me say that this location looks EXACTLY like a corporate owned store. It goes by the name i-talk www.4italk.com .  Come to learn the owners are really Michael Dembov and/or Sierra Best (630) 666-3333 .

The phones were horrible. Consistent  inconsistency ..Problems, issues, fixes, updates all of which in the news daily.( Web pages
and articles supporting this follow and all my phone calls documented in their logs),  but add to this the well known ,1 2 but 3 Verizon network LTE outages, in the news,on TV,and online as well.

Everyone heard about this one.( some web pages on this subject also follow) I returned to the same store in person on 12/22/11 and  only got credit for 283.15 on the 333.15 sale and the 666.30 charge I only got credit for 566.30. I was given no credit card slip like a normal slip would look like. I was handed their store receipt. (Attached)When asked about the 150.00 in total that was not credited back, the response was restocking fee. . What restocking fee, I respond. So much for advising me of
that when they were purchased. Not one word of any restocking fee was uttered to myself nor my wife.

Both Marzella and Arthur, the store employees, were present questioned and better yet, what happened to the much 14 day worry freewell you know it was restocking charges. This was further substantiated when a 3 way phone conversation took place on 1-1-12 between myself, Marzella, the manager at the store, and Mark from Capital One Disputes. Marzella told both Mark and me she admitted to not disclosing the restocking I immediately asked them if there was a restocking fee then why arent the boxes the merchandise come in clearly marked with the restocking fee right on them like ATT does, (see example
attached).

That same conversation led to discussion of me finding out for the first time that I was to be so called waiting for my refund via
check???? What check???? Marzelkla  also admits that no mention was made to the fact that I was to expect my refund from
them by check. I paid by credit card , I would expect the same method for my credit. I didnt pay the store with a check. I used a credit card. A Capital One card. No check has been received at my house for a credit issued 2 weeks ago!! But nor was I on the lookout for one. I dont want the refund by check. I never agreed to this

The credit of 857.97 on 12/22 is a whole separate dispute and has nothing to due with this part of the saga.

I have documentation on the worry free guarantee, the Verizon LTE Outage, and both phones that were purchased to help you sort this thing out if you havent already.

the Verizon worry-free guarantee.

Worry Free Guarantee

General Information

1. Why does Verizon Wireless have a Worry Free Guarantee?

The number one question most people have when they purchase a new product or when they do business with a company for the first time is what happens after the sale. It is a concern reiterated almost universally by consumers who are tired of
finding out after the fact that the company with whom they have chosen to do business is not interested in their problem when something goes wrong. The Worry Free Guarantee is our customer commitment that solidifies how Verizon Wireless does business nationwide. The Worry Free Guarantee is multifaceted, but the core of the message is that customers who choose Verizon Wireless are getting a commitment that we will stand behind the products and equipment we sell. https://community.verizonwireless.com/thread/744628/page/44,

Arthur-

That is no way to treat a customer, wether they are telling the truth or not, the customer is always right... Your statement shows the kind of people Italk-Verizon hires and your immaturity and flat out ignorance is enough to make me stay far away from any Italk location. i will be sure to spread the news as well to everyone I know, including reporters.

This Report is Completely Inaccurate...

Mr. "JayZee's" report on this matter has been completely modified to attempt an attack on iTalk.

The story goes as is...

JayZee walked into our store coming from Costco carrying two brand new lines on brand new Motorola RAZR's.  He mentioned having three lines he needed to port over from Sprint.  He asked for our help to fully activate and transfer all data (contacts, pictures, videos, music) from their old phones to their new ones being that Costco was unable to help them in this specific area.

Mr. JayZee continued to mention how he heard there was a new phone coming out, called the "Samsung Nexus," and that he was wanting to get those phones instead of the RAZR's.  He continued to go on to tell us that he liked doing business with us so much, he said that Costco will not be carrying these phones, because we were so helpful, he would go back to Costco to return the RAZR's when the Nexus comes out to get them with us..in which he did.  This is his first mistake. These Razr's were released on November 11, 2011.  Mr. JayZee was in our store a couple of days after November 11, 2011 needing us to transfer his data from his old phones to his new lines with Verizon.

The Nexus was released on December 15, 2011.  His mistake was thinking he can walk in to costco RETURN the phones completely and walk on in to iTalk and get the Nexus at a discounted price with out having to cancel his lines he activated from Costco OUT of the 14 DAY WORRY FREE GUARANTEE.

The day of the release of the Nexus, Mr. JayZee walked into our store for a second time...giving him not one but two times to see our centered iTalk logo placed in front of our customer service desk and on our outside moniker with "Premium Retailer" AND "iTalk" with our logo.  In which, by the way, is required by Verizon Wireless themselves to have their indirect stores have the name of the Franchise posted to let customers KNOW they are not in a Corporate store.  This is pretending the fact that the conversation of, "Who iTalk is?" never happened between Mr. JayZee and an iTalk employee.   Moving on...

We told Mr. JayZee that we can not give him the Nexus at the discounted price of $299.99, since it was over the 14 day period.  Mr. JayZee went ahead and made a nimble decision on continuing with his purchase for his ONE Nexus on December 15, 2011, creating a new line with a NEW contract to attain this new device.

To make a long story short, he came in buying TWO new Nexus devices that day after 12/15/11 adding TWO NEW LINES with TWO NEW contracts coming up to a total of three devices, three visits, which in return means THREE times he NEVER had a clue he was not in a corporate store yet?....Please Mr. JayZee have some dignity.

The restocking fee was explained to you during the purchase, and as well on our Terms and Agreements that YOU signed THREE times and also conveniently printed on EVERY receipt that comes out of this store with YOUR signature....and yes, they do explain you do get a Company Refund Check with in 20 business days from the date of return or exchange.
Note:  The third signature came from you signing the agreement to get your check back.
But at the time this wasn't an issue, after you mentioning how you were NOT going to be returning these devices.

Now do me a favor and ask yourself this Mr. JayZee...did we ask for your credit card to apply the charge back on that SAME card?

Answer is...: NO. WHY? because you were too busy stealing our iphone case, in which we have you on camera in doing so.  I thought I saw you opening something up while you were looking at your NEXT THREE phones you said you were going to get at BEST BUY??!?!

Yeah, Mr. JayZee told us he was going to Best Buy to get the iphones there since we did not have them.  Yet, he did not like the fact that we were NOT a corporate store, and went to Costco to begin with and THEN went to Best Buy?!  How did that work out for you?

NOT to mention the fact you didn't even through a fit when you found out you were NOT getting your full refund back.  You asked, "Why not?"  We told you why, and you simply nodded and walked out in a rush.
