Jackson Hewitt 500% increase over last years tax prep for same 1040-EZ Same 1040-EZ return last year $50 this year $250 Jacksonville Florida

I have a very simple 1040-EZ return, Married filing jointly, one job with a healthcare plan is our only source of income. Last year I went to Jackson Hewitt and was satisfied. This year same type of tax return. Last year it cost $50 to prepare, this year $250 on the spot. I asked the tax preparer to call her supervisor. The answer she was given was the price went up because of the "extra forms" (1095-C?) involved with heathcare this year. I don't know if I was being scammed or if the preparer and her helpline were imcompetent.
