JD Byrider I am actually wanting people to know that if JB ByzRyder has done all this things like refuse to repair vehicles under warranty, or charging 3x book value, or even bait and switch these are all illegal and you may be able to file not only civil charges but criminal charges through your states Attorney Generals Office. There may be even fraud ! J.B. ByRider(S) Internet

Again if J.D ByRider is not repairing their items that they have under warranty, or sell you a vehicle with a lot of repairs and is a lemon, or charges you 3x or more the book price of the worth of the vehicle, or if they bait and switch you when you come in to buy a vehicle. All these things could not only be a civil charge brought against J. D.ByRider but there could or more than likely be criminal charges brought against J.D.ByRider as well as fraud. You folks need to file a complaint with your State Attorney Generals Office as well as the States BMV. I hope this will help all you folks with J.D.ByRider Good Luck !

Wrong on many points

AUTHOR: Robert - (USA)

Let take a wild guess here.

You bought a car, failed to check out the value BEFORE you bought it.  failed to have it checked out by a mechanic BEFORE you bought it, and because you have Sub-Prime credit got stuck with a high interest rate and payments,  Where you are now having mechncial issues on your 10+ year old car with over 100,000 miles.

Where you are now regetting the purchase.  You have just described "Buyer's Remorse".

Just some information on your claims.

First a dealer can sell a car for any price they want.  If they wanted to sell a car with a "value" of $3000 for 3.5 Million, if someone bought it there is nothing illegal or wrong with that.  It is up to the buyer to decide if the price is worth it.

There are very few States that cover USED cars in their Lemon Laws.  The very few that do have a lot of restrictions such as it still must be under the original manufacturers warranty.  Which does not apply to the high mileage older cars that end up on the lot of these sub-prime dealers.

I really have no idea what you mean by "bait and switch" but I can just about guarantee you that no matter how you are trying to use it, it does NOT apply in terms of car financing and purchasing.

The ONE valid point you MAY have is warranty repairs.  If you have proof that you have a repair covered under warranty and they are not covering it.  Then and only then may you have something you could take additional CIVIL action against them.  But with that said keep in mind things such as "wear and tear" items like tires, clutches..etc are NEVER covered under a warranty.

Automobile dealers [and all other merchants] are not required to sell their merchandise at or below market value.

You learned about American Free Enterprise in 8th grade civics so you should recall that it is not unlawful to sell merchandise above market value. If you agree to pay $1000 for a pencil worth 5¢ there is no crime and there is no recourse.

The dealer or warranty provider is required to honor the terms of a written warranty. If you were a victim of bait-and-switch then it was foolish of you to reward them by purchasing the vehicle.
