DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! ! !

Worn Again Thrift Stores is a family owned Non-Profit organization that Uses donations and purchased furniture to help the less fortunate have nice clothes, household goods, and furniture at very cheap prices. We decided to purchase a large truckload of (what was supposed to be) returned, discontinued, and new furniture from JD Closeouts. The Sales rep told us that this is very nice furniture and the truck would be fully loaded. He also said that the furniture would only take a few days to get to us after payment. Our town is in West Central Fl, they are in Hollywood Fl. After paying we waited. The the 3rd day of calling they finally told us that the furniture would be here the following week. Tuesday of the following week we got the call that the truck would be there that day.

The driver backed the truck up, unlocked, and opened the doors. OUR HEARTS SUNK to see a not even half loaded truck full of OLD USED HOTEL FURNITURE. Nasty looking chairs with paint on a few of them. Old TV stands some still had the phone mounts still attached to them. Mold and water damaged pressed board night stands. There was an old leather couch that looked to be at least 10 years old. the Funny thing is, i just had to get rid of an old couch that was a donation that was in better shape then the one we bought. We can sell NONE OF THE FURNITURE. . . . . . .

After looking at it we called the company. Of course no one was available to help us. There was no management available. We talked to one lady and she told us that there were 5 different owners and they lived all over the world. Then the sales guy told us that it was a family business and Joe was the owner and neither he nor his sons were there at the moment. . . . . . . . . .The receptionist, or who ever she was, after trying to give us $750 dollars back(which was the shipping cost they ripped from us) just kept  trying to get us to take the load, take the load, take the load. . . . . .just kept saying it over and over. wouldn't let us get a word in.
They also left their invoice from where they bought the furniture. It was from a used hotel furniture salvage joint. . . . . . .
All I can say is how can you do this to good people. . . . .we are not a huge business we only have so much money and a $5000.00 load of firewood isn't what i call good business. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM JDCLOSEOUTS.COM
