I am extremely upset with this company's quality of work and their customer service relations. I had my car serviced at the Canton location in Georgia on October 18th 2003. First of all the man, Mike, who handled the repair of my brakes, was concerned about keeping me away from the manager, who as I witnessed was extremely rude to another customer. When I paid my bill by check, the service representative accidentally entered the amount for $2.54 instead of $254.32. I received a call on a Monday from the rude manager about this situation and I told him I would get there as soon as I was able. I also offered to pay with a credit card over the phone he refused to take such a payment.
For the next week, I received harassing messages from this manager. The last message I received was not only appalling, it was also filled with foul language in which my son heard. I was finally able to get in touch with the manager, I was furious and I let him know it. Suddenly it was acceptable to take the payment over the phone. Then, a sheriff comes to my house and serves me with a summons from the service representative, Mike for the monies owed. Apparently, he quit and the money was taken out of his pay.
This was the worst experience I have ever had in dealing with a repair service. Shortly after, my brakes were supposedly repaired they began to make the same noise that they made before I took them to Just Brakes. Then to make the situation even worse, on March 3rd 2004 I went to have my oil changed I asked my mechanic if he would check the brakes. To my disgust the same front brakes had to be repaired again, which cost me $128.27. There is no possible way that a car can go through a set of brakes in a 4 months time span. So aside from all the aggravation I had to go through because of someone else's mistake my brakes were never even repaired at Just Brakes.
I feel that I deserve restitution because of these circumstances. I have all documentation concerning this situation.

Doug you should seek help, you are not living in the real world! I used to work for this company (which bought out Brake Depot and their reputation) and they emphasize sales, not customer service. The companies priority is making money and covering up for mistakes to their employees and customers and hide behind their attorneys and loopholes they find to protect themselves. Many of the employees use drugs (including upper management) and care nothing more than the "almighty dollar" than repairing the vehicle properly. These people "brainwash" the employees to sell and not accept "no" from the customer. They do not reqire ASE certification from the "technicians".
As a manager, I handled complaints from customers that had been to many stores. The major complaint is shoddy work with the feeling of being "ripped off". People remember this: Ripoff report is not getting close the complaints that I have heard; tell you friends to register their complaints and maybe some attorney will have the "b_l_s" to fight this company and seek restitution for all!!!!! Meantime, Doug seek some help or go to rehab.

You are the one that has got to be kidding. You are either an employee of Just Brakes (probably the manager who gets paid bonuses for the unnecessary work), or you live in a bubble.

You have got to be kidding! Just Brakes is one of the classic small business stories of the 21st century. With 137 stores, they are truly the Largest and Best True Brake Experts. The problem is people like you don't realize that the honest folks at Just Brakes are trained to fix peoples cars, and to insure a safe driving vehicle. Your attempts to put down a clearly solid organization are feeble and unwarranted.

They tried to rip me off too. I took my car there to get brake pads and they said I need new rotors. I told them I wanted to get a second opinion and sure enough I was fine and didn't really need break pads. Just because I was a woman they thought they could rip me off.

maybe next time, you should choose quality in general.. instead of price!
