I used their site because my dog's health was failing. They told me I could speak to a vet for a $5 deposit. After the fact they charged me the initial $5 and asked if I would like to tip. I gave a $3 tip. Once I checked my bank account there was another $14 charge. Although it said the $5 was a deposit I was never told there would be an additional charge of $14. When I called customer service I asked where I was told that there would be an additional charge. He told me it was after I ask the question. I entered another question to see where it said that and I did not see it anywhere. I paid $22 for a two minute conversation. I feel like this is a fraudulent site and now I am concerned that they have my credit card number.
The customer service rep made sure to mention to me that justanswer.com has an A+ customer rating at BBB. I wonder how well the prior resolved 200+ complaints were investigated and how many others have been scammed and don't bother to complain. I feel like justanswer.com is making money by taking small amounts from many people and hoping they don't complain. I would like to see it looked into and will be reporting the site to any online fraud reporting resources I can find.

Telling me they are going to charge my card again

I did not ask another question. I did not ask a first question. I put in my dogs syptoms, that is all. If I would have gotten a message that they were going to charge me an additional $14 I may have even paid it happily. I know that nothing is free. My complaint is that they did not ask me to authorize the changes before they charged my card.
As a follow up, today in my email I have a message from them that thanks me for being a member and says they are going to charge my card $29 in two days. I will give them credit for letting me know in advance this time however I never agreed to a membership. I was very careful that I did not sign up for anything that would have repeating charges.
This site is fraudulently taking money from unsuspecting people. Reputable online companies always tell you when they are going to charge your card in advance and they don't sign you up for unwanted memberships.

Technically I never even asked a question, all I did was enter my dogs symptoms and answer their questions. I WAS NEVER TOLD OF AN ADDITIONAL $14 CHARGE IN ADVANCE!!!!
Here is the entire $22 conversation as taken from the justanswer.com website:
The weakness and off balance behavior of your pup is concerning. In older animals we worry about a lot of potential causes such as - a slipped disk, spinal cord disease, toxins, cancer, and balance issues. Without an exam I cannot diagnose or prescribe treatment, but I can explain a bit about one of these diagnoses that may help you understand better. The most common issue I see when dogs present to me like this is a slipped disk. Sometimes they just has back pain sometimes they are wobbly and walk like they are drunk. In this situation dogs do well on pain control and possibly steroids or anti-inflammatories. What you have to watch out for now is making sure your pet can still walk, because if he suddenly can't then you have an emergency situation.

Its a PER QUESTION answer site. YOU asked MORE then one question by your own admittance. So HOW is it a ripoff when YOU ADMIT that you asked a FOLLOW UP QUESTION?!?!?! I think YOU should be looked into for YOUR inability to understand simple situations. YOU are a self entitled individual who CANNOT understand the BASIC CONCEPT of paying PER question. NOT A RIPOFF!! Just someone who just CANNOT understand that NOTHING is free.
