They lured me in with a "50% off first order." I was happy and somewhat pleased for the price. They make it loud and clear that their prices are low--$39.95 per order. What they make really really small--in the fine print somewhere I don't even remember, is that they charge you every month and are super sneaky about getting you to authorize this!
I found this out that they were wanting to charge me monthly so I got online to cancel. There was a button that I had to search far and wide for that said, "cancel my membership." I thought I was done with this shady company.
It gets worse. Two months later, I get an email saying something about being charged $39.95 for the month of Dec. I called the company and they said I had "2 credits worth 39.95 each that I can use to spend on anything I want." I was like, "wow, cool, they're probably doing a promotion to keep me, and I probably misread that email about the $39.95 charge."
No. The rep did not tell me I paid for these "credits," I had to fish around to get it out of her! She was trying to mislead me. They kept charging me even though I cancelled my membership! I told the rep this and she said that I could ONLY cancel between the 1st and 5th of the month!! Apparently I hadn't done this so too bad so sad.
I was livid. I asked to speak w/ a manager, the woman said no need, she will ask for me if she can cancel the two "credits." She came back and said she could only do one. I told her no way they are cancelling two. Of course she went back to her supervisor and of course they said fine, we'll cancel two. Then she had the nerve to tell me I could still keep my membership and take advantage of the BOGO half off sale today. ARe you kidding me? I told her I am never coming back to this shady site again!
I actually did go back, and that was to delete my credit card information. Guess what? No way to do that. I deleted my info and it won't let you. It will just tell you they need this and that info. When you refresh, all your info comes back! How convenient! So I tried to change the card number and they tell you the card is invalid. Again, nowhere does it say "delete card." They are such a scam. I used to love Kimora Lee Simmons and watch all her shows but I have lost total respect for her. I know celebrities are generally not known as the most moral and ethical people but I actually see her now as a scammer, on par with pyramid scheme people. Bad for her image for sure. Not fab.
