Kohl's ,Kohl's Credit Card Scam Menomonee Wisconsin

Last year, I was in the checkout line of Kohl's and saw a promotion to save 10% on my purchase that day by applying for a store credit card that day. We don't have any store credit cards and pay everything with our debit card, which comes directly out of our checking account. I applied for the card merely to receive the discount, with the intention of paying it off as soon as the bill arrived. Problem is, the bill took months to arrive.

After breaking through the nearly impossible barrier of a confusing electronic voice answering system, on two occasions, I explained that we had never received a bill. They wanted me to pay the bill on the phone by giving them my debit card and banking information, as well as my SS number when I hadn't even received a bill. I refused to do it, confirmed my address and stated both times, the bill would be paid as soon as a bill was received, but that I would not pay any late fees.

We finally got the bill, paid it, but Kohl's refuses to wave the late fees, which have since accumulated to quite a small fortune. They harass us at least 12 X a day with phone calls. They seem to think if they call enough times and drive us crazy we will pay them. Not going to happen.

At this point, I don't know how to stop the harassment, but refuse to pay this. We don't even take the calls anymore, as they don't care about our side of the story. Beware! Do not apply for a Kohl's store credit card. You will later regret it.
