L.A. Fitness L.A. Fitness RIPOFF misleading information Liars, guy supposedly worked there for 10yrs that signed me up now he quit couple of months ago Ripoff Texas

I signed up for L.A. Fitness and this jerk told me it was 140.00 enrollment fee and 29.99/month. I was a client of theirs for 3 months then i noticed i was overdrawn in my account. that 79.99 plus 29.99 was charged! I called corporate and asked them they apologized and said they would give me extra training sessions and would credit my account with them. Next month my account went overdrawn 290.00overdrafting fees. I figured this is impossible seeing as how my credit had been canceled 1week before these transactions were made and i dont ever write checks so i called my bank and they said LA FITNESS had been charging my account monthly I called the club and let them know what was going on i never signed a paper saying they could even charge my account automatically!

LIARS so i call up the club and they say i need to come in and speak with the person that signed me up JEREMY!! I went up to the club JEREMY doesnt work there so i spoke with a supervisor and he said that EVERYONE knows it gets automatically deducted i told him so if it is i want to see the paper that JEREMY supposedly was suppose to give me saying that monthly it would be deducted! The supervisor prints out a copy of the agreement and guess whats missing my SIGNATURE there is no signature on the document because i never saw it! the only piece of paper i recieved when i registered at the club was the aerobics and classes schedule. Supervisor tells me there is nothing he can do that everyone knows then i question him about why i was getting charged 29.99 plus the 79.99 i was told i would only be charge 29.99 a month! i paid my enrollment fee! Guess what it was not in the system !SURPRISE This club is ridiculous so i tried to close my account right then and their and guess what i have to call someone else and they did not want to reimburse me for my money that they charged to my account illegally. I had to get a lawyer to help me to get my bank to reimburse me for unauthorized charges which i'm happy to say they did !! because of my lawyer not LA Fitness they said their was nothing they could do and they werent sure exactly what jeremy had told me but they arent able to contact him either because he worked their for 10yrs yet somehow he had a change of heart! and left the company a couple of months ago before i made this complaint!
