A week ago, we contacted our home warranty company to repair the AC. Remember, this is Texas and temps are in the 100s now.  A very nice lady tried to help us: she said this is not considered an emergency but she would have a local agent contact us to see if they can rush it somehow. She also said the repair company would contact us within 4 business hours (their hours are 6a-6p). We have heard nothing since that time, from neither the warranty company nor the repair company. Extremely disappointing. The next day, we waited until 10A (4 business hours later) and began calling both the repair company and the warranty company, but amazingly, no one would answer the line. We decided the next day that instead of waiting (we would have been waiting a week as of tomorrow) we would contact someone ourselves and within an hour, they were there to fix the problem. $350 later instead of the $50 it should have been. Tried to file a report with Landmark and after typing my report a few times and from 2 different computers, each time it took me to a page saying "reviews are disabled to prevent spam". What? No wonder they only have 4 and 5 star reviews on their site!!! Warranty is not worth it.

 After filing a negative report in August 2015, we were contacted relatively quickly and we were eventually refunded the money we put out of pocket, minus the standard fee for service. It actually took a few weeks to get the refund, but I am definitely much happier with our choice of this company as our home warranty company!

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to address your concerns. We are truly sorry for this experience! Unfortunately, it seems you were attempting to contact Landmark at a point of high call volume and that is why it was difficult to get through to a customer service representative. Landmark has done everything possible to be as staffed as possible, however, we still reach small periods of high wait times, which we apologize for.

As for the inability to leave a report, or review, I am unaware of which site you were attempting to leave feedback on. Landmark does not own any sites where you would leave a review so we are unable to control the functionality of that site. I hope that is understandable. Your feedback is very important to us and we are sorry for the difficulties that were experienced.

At this point in time Landmark is offering to review your invoice from the out-of-network contractor for possible reimbursement and we are waiting to receive that documentation from your husband. As soon as that is received we will be able to move forward. Thank you for your willingness to work with us. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
