I ordered a led light bar from these people and paid for it with a credit card. The light bar was never shipped and numerous attempts to contact them have failed.
I have repeatedly phoned with only getting an answering machine. I have left numerous messages and they have been ignored.
I have contacted them through their website multiple times with the same results. No one is trying to resolve this issue.

This is very true, all companies do have complaints. But if you sit on your a*s and do nothing about them, or better yet, be rude to those issuing the complaints. You are demonstrating that you have incredibly poor business ethics at best... I am surprised that you don't have a dozen lawsuits pinned against you, and that your still able to steal people's hard earned money.

With all the issues with this company, we were able to stop all payment to them so we were not out anymore other than the cost of returning the lightbar. Our problems with this company started at the time of the order and never stopped. Most of the time they never responded to us but when they did, it was to promise things and lie to us because they never followed through on anything.
We have sent the lightbar back to them to with what they wish, maybe they will try to sell it to someone else. We will never do business with them again.
I have kept records of all correspondence, when we got that, to prove what they were doing and not doing. We have since researched and went with a reliable company and have gotten a lightbar the performs as it should. Lesson learned cheapest is not always the best and carefully research the company you are buying from.

I ordered the Vulture IV LED Dashlight from them. They are nice lights, except the day after I got them, a section stopped working. I tried getting intouch with LED Outfitters by calling their business phone (which I called several times only to get a weird sounding busy tone EVERY time until 5:00pm on the dot, when it went to the answering machine. I left messages which went unanswered, I sent them emails which have gone unanswered, and got in touch with the NC Attorney General, whom they also have ignored. Since I tried that, another section has remained lit while it's on. I think it's junk ordered from China...Try Galls or strobesnmore Atleast they will answer calls and emails without having to be threatened, either by the law or by publicity.

After my original post, we received the lightbar and shortly thereafter found that it would not perform properly. I was contacted by Ledoutfitters about this post and they stated that they wanted to get the situation resolved and wanted me to give them a good review if the problem was corrected. I agreed that I would do this if the situation was corrected. Well, it has gone the same way as before. First it was the new flashboard is on back order. Then it was, according to the email from them, supposed to be shipped a week ago. Now it is supposed to be shipped next week. Emails to them ignored. They say the lightbar is not paid for but the paperwork that the trustees have show that the it is paid for. They seem to have more excuses than a pharmacy has pills. We now have been trying to have them honor their commitment since October of 2009. I was told by them that if threatened them with actions that I would be less likely to get help from them. We still don't have a properly working lightbar.

I will not respond after this rebuttal because I see that their responses are as they seem to do business.
I was never told one time that the light bar in question was on back order. In the beginning, I was asked if I wanted to wait 6 weeks for a better light bar. I never agreed to wait. At that time I told them no and that I needed and wanted that bar shipped ASAP.
I had one more live contact. The last live person I had contact with on the phone was Rick, who told me he didn't understand why it hadn't shipped yet and that he would get back with me that day. It never happened and that was the last contact that I was able to make. Unanswered messages on answering machines and unanswered emails through their web site was what was left
The light bar that we received appears to be the exact light bar that I had ordered with no paperwork that indicates anything different than that.

Customer was well made of the fact that the lightbar was on back order and that they would be receiving a free upgrade to the new version of the lightbar.
We would have never charged the customers card if the customer was not made aware of the back order well in advance. We upgraded them to a much better lightbar for the delay and that is why they accepted!
We apologies for the delay and we are sorry it took awhile to receive it. We deal with 1000s of customers every month and it is unfortunate that you feel like this about us.
Buy from us with confidence. All orders usually have a 24-48 hour turn around time unless an item is on back order.
In regards to the customers complaint to the BBB. We never received notice of their complaint or we would have responded to them

This in in response to the explanation of Ledoutfitters on this lightbar situation. We did receive the item but after some other actions occurred. I have kept all documentation of what limited responses on anything concerning this issue.
I have email records that show when the lightbar was supposed to have shipped and when it was supposed to be delivered. I have an email from UPS that shows the lightbar was never shipped when it was supposed to.
After repeated attempts to contact Ledoutfitters, with no success, I filed a complaint with the BBB in New York. Their records show other complaints against Ledoutfitters with the resulting response "no response from the company".
My governing body then contacted the bank credit card company and canceled payment so they got no payment for the bar. The same day the payment was canceled, they then shipped the lightbar.
I have the emails from UPS that shows the item was never shipped and returned or anything else as was claimed by that company in their rebuttal.
You can draw your own conclusions but we will not take a chance and purchase anything else from this company or recommend them to anyone.
