Lens Crafters Very Bad Business Practices - Buyer Beware Danbury Connecticut

I purchased two pair of glasses from Lens Crafters in Milford CT two years ago. The total purchase cost of the glasses was about $850. Since then, we have moved to Danbury CT and my prescription changed quite a bit.

I first attempted to have just the lenses updated by COSTCO, but their people could not accommodate me. I took the two pair of glasses to the Lens Crafters in Danbury. The first thing the person waiting on me stated after I was seated was "these are NOT Lens Crafters frames". I stated that they most certainly were several times until she relented.

I then asked the cost of replacement lenses. She stated for single-vision lenses - nothing fancy mind you - I would be charged $187 or more per frame.

So beware of purchasing anything from this company, because their intention is to only sell you new products and not reuse perfectly good products. Not even their own.
