I presented a radial tire(P215/75R-14)for a road hazard warranty adjustment along with my documentation.
After Schwab's examination of the tire I was informed the tire was unrepairable and the warranty did not apply. Although there was a hole in the tire, there was not significant damage to indicate a "road hazard". They expressed their opinion the damage was inflicted by a vandal and they would not honor the Warranty.
I took the tire and left the establishment.
The tire was adjusted by another Les Schwab/Schaub-Ellison Co. in Fife, Wa. They explained it was easier for them to "eat" a $25 tire than the other store.

Did you read your road hazard papers? I'm sure there is something written in there that says what is and isn't covered. I sold tires for many different companies. It's always in therre as a disclaimer so customers don't stick their sidewalls with icepicks in order to get a new tire.
I think the 2nd you went to handled the problem with profesionalism and itegrity. I don't think you have anything to be upset about. Actually I don't understand why you even took the time to send a letter to this site..........note the name..."Rip Off Report" Were you "ripped off"?
