I purchased a cash register to be shipped via 2nd day air. The cash register was shipped via 3 day. I was first told by the shipping manager that I could return the products and not incur a re-stock fee due to their error. The owner "Chris" will now, not stand by that agreement.

Chris and I agreed on a 10% re-stock fee and that I would receive a refund within 7-10 business days of him receiving the merchandise back. I shipped the register back and they received it on 01/10/07. It is now 02/19/07 and I still have not been refunded. They are ignoring my e-mails. When I call for status, they lie and say they check has been mailed. This company has continually ignored my e-mails, lied to me over the phone in regards to not only the refund check being sent, but also when trying to acquire the RMA number. This company has had their merchandise returned and in their posession since 01/10/07 (6 weeks). I still do not have a refund check.

Owner calls and threatens me!

AUTHOR: Ken - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, February 22, 2007

Shortly after sending this ripoffreport.com link to the owner, Chris Corday, he called me and threatened me. He said that because I filed this and other consumer complaints, that he was not going to refund my money at all. He said he would "make my life miserable".

When I called this company on 01/12/07, I was told by them that check # 12487 had been mailed out that day to me. They said they were unable to tell me the amount. When the ownwer, Chris, called me on 01/19/07 (to threaten me) he stated that a check had never been sent.

I have determined that this company has broken the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act (specifically the section dealing with Refund Policies from Retail Stores). I have contacted a few lawyers to see if I have a case. Any other lawyers out there willing to take this?

I have hardcopy proof from UPS that this merchandise was received from Letterfolders.com on 01/10/07, signed for by C. Caturan at the address that letterfolders.com asked me to send the merchandise to. I also have an e-mail from the owner dated 01/17/07 that states they did receive the package and my refund would be issued in 7-10 days.

When was the last time a company called and threatened you because you filed a consumer complaint against them? This is obviously not a company to do business with.
