I saw a LifeCell South Beach Skincare TV commercial advertising their product saying that by just paying shipping of $4. and change that they would send a sample of their product no strings attached. They wanted to promote their product by offering it free except shipping. I paid the shipping by giving my Visa card number.
Months later on my Visa statement I see a charge from LifeCell for $189. At their website they specify different payment terms than on their TV commercial. This is how they get you...they charge the $189. to you since they already have your credit card info. and when I called LifeCell to complain that I only bought by the TV commercial and not on the website, they say I didn't cancel or send back the unused portion during the time allotted! Switcho, chango.
And I call to have the charge taken off my credit card and my Visa credit card company checks the terms of purchase by looking at the LifeCell website of course so they are reticent to take off the charge of $189.
If LifeCell's product is a superior product as they say it is why do they have such shady business dealings?

There is a big difference between free trial and free sample. They offered you a free trial of their product. If you didnt want it you had to return it within 30 days and there would be no charge and you got the trial for free. However, its stated very clearly on their website that if you keep it you will be charged and you can choose to keep getting the product every 90 or 120 days . The amount of product they send will last for 9o days .
