I had called, what I thought was an AOL customer service person who told me that someone from Afganistan hacked into my AOL site and my emails were going to Someone in Afganistan.  I believed this person and asked what I could do.  Still leading me to believe I was talking to AOL, he said they could install software to fix the problem.  I asked him where he was located; he told me he was in Las Vegas.  I had no reason not to believe him. Supposedly, he installed "software" to take care of the "problem."

When I received their invoice, it said that the location was Duncan, BC Canada, not Las Vegas.  I thought if he lied about that , what else did he lie about.  I look the company up which I learned is a third party that supposedly tends to repairs on computers.  I called a company that usually takes care of my computer needs, a company which Live Technician bad mouthed and said they were a scam.  The tech from this company checked Live Technician software and said it was fake.  This software costs $349.99 for a 3 year contract.

I looked Live Technician on the internet for reviews and SCAM was the big word.  Thought I should let someone know that this company, if I can call it a company, was perfectly ready to argue with me on the phone and then continuously called me for hours; I don't know how long or whatever else their harrassment will come to.  Concerned.
