This scam operation led me to believe they were Microsoft Tech support.  They invaded my young son's New laptop in the first hour of receiving it through the mail on his birthday.  They sent an audio and scripted message cautioning us not to turn computer off or continue usage as it was infected with a virus.  It said do not turn computer off and it locked the screen.

They said to call the tech support.  I should have been tipped off when I couldn't get through for 3 days.  Once I did they explained that Dell didn't install my protective software properly but they would take care of that for free once I paid $218 for the needed Microsoft firewall I didn't order but needed to clear the 142 viruses on the computer.

I repeated I couldn't understand why this was needed with all the protection I paid for with the computer and they showed me the viruses they put in.  I had to give them all my personal information as well as my Dr purity code on my debit card and they watched me through the camera on the laptop.  I am so creeper out by this rip off fraudulent operation.

They installed a message saying a virus infected computer and instructed us to not turn computer off and cautioned with audio as well as script to call their tech support. After not fully understanding their accents they coerced me into spending $218 to clear viruses they put on and gain access to all my personal information and banking info. Not only that but they invaded my computer and could view us in our home through the camera on the laptop. Creepy, disturbing fraudulent scam. Do not know probably Middle East
