I ordered the Profit Taker on 8-5-09, which is a trading e-newsletter. You had to pay for a years' subscription up-front with the promise of a refund, pro-rated, should you decide to cancel. Three months later, on 10-6-09, I decided it is not what I want and canceled. It is 8 weeks later now, and after repeated calls, (which by the way, go to Canada I discovered through my telephone company), I still have no refund.
Also, on 10-9-09, they put an unauthorized charge on my credit card. I was incensed when I discovered it and called immediately, asking what that was for. After expressing outrage they promised a refund which I received 4 weeks later but not for the full amount! I am a business owner and consider unauthorized charges on a credit card a huge breach of trust between business owner and customer. And why then would you not credit the full amount?
This is a fair warning to anyone considering a purchase from them. If you give a credit card number...you may experience unauthorized charges. If you purchase with the promise of a refund should you decide to cancel, you will not get one. Being a business owner, I have learned to keep impeccable records of everything and anyone wanting to talk with me here is my phone number 573-897-3733. I have proof of all the above. No company deserves to be in business without utmost integrity. I am still in disbelief they can do their customers like what my experience has been and continue to be in business.

Let me be very clear on the details for the sake of anyone considering a purchase from Lombardi Publishing

Okay, Lombardi Publishing has finally agreed to refund me the entire amount instead of only the promised pro-rated amount. (and of course I was aware a pro-rated refund was all that was guaranteed, the point was that they were not giving any refund!) After reneging on their promise of a 30-day refund process, instead a 60-day battle of trying to get it out of them, it was only appropriate of them to give a full refund. Thank you, Jackie.
Concerning the $.95 cents they refer to, they are trying to make me appear like a cheapskate when it was part of the unauthorized charge to my credit card. And since they insist on details, here is what happened...two weeks after ordering a product, another charge of $95.95 was put on my card for something I never ordered and had to call to see what it was for! I was very upset over that and so they agreed to credit it back. Four weeks later $95.00 credit appeared on my card. Okay, is it worth the hassle for $.95 more? Certainly not, but since they still owed on the refund for the newsletter, I insisted they put that $.95 on too. And why not??? It was taken from me and it was still my money. If it was an honest mistake, I would have let it go. A company cheating like that, no way. (take note: in Lombardi's rebuttal they do not address the unauthorized charge)
Bottom line, I would never do business with them again, ever. As a business owner, I find it highly offensive the way this company does business.

We gave the customer a refund for the full price of the service. She claimed that she was owed an additional 95 cents, which we also refunded to her to prevent any further conflict. We also provided the customer a full refund for another product even though she was fully aware the terms of the sale included a pro-rated refund. We have gone over and above quality customer service and business practices to satisfy this customer's demands.
We've been in business since 1986 and have served over 1.4 million customers. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and try our best for our customers.
