On December 15, 2014, I watched a television advertisement about Luxoderm skin cream.  It sounded very nice.  The advertisement claimed that the product was a "risk free trial". There was no mention of the product's cost.  All you had to do was give them $4.95 in shipping charges and they would send you some of their skin cream.

I received 2 bottles of skin cream and 2 bottles of another product called "Gold Toner" or something to that effect.  It was a product that was recommended to be used with the skin cream and would ship with the skin cream for only $2.45.  I used one of each product one time.

On December 29, 2014, I checked my records and noticed that my account had been charged 139.90 two times.  A total of $279.80.  On December 30, 2014, I contacted the company to let them know that I did not want to be a member, I wanted a return number (you had to have one of these for each product being returned or they would not accept the return), and I wanted all my money back.

The woman on the line first asked me if I had read the terms of the agreement.  I told her I had, but it didn't say it was going to charge me $279.80 cents 2 weeks after I ordered the product.  She then asked if I had read all the celebrity endorsements.  I informed her that I really didn't care, I didn't want to be a member and I wanted my money back.  Noting that it would be to bad if I didn't get any benefit from the product , she asked if she deducted $60.00 off the price, she would cancel my membership and let me keep the product.  I told her "no".  Then, she wanted to know if I would wait while she asked her supervisor if she could let me keep the product for only 50% of the price.  When I declined this offer, I asked again for return numbers so I could return the product.  She gave me two numbers, said she had cancelled my membership, and that I needed to return the products with only 1 of each product being opened.  I mailed the product back Tuesday, December 30, 2014, the same day I had talked to this woman.

Now, December 31, 2014, I have again checked my records and I have been charged an additional $279.80 for the same products that I not only do not have, but I am not a member of this "club".  I was told that when my returned products were returned, it would be 10 business days before I could expect to see any refund.  This company has lied and stolen from me and must be stopped.

Just wanted to add a note to my main complaint.  When this company, that goes by many different names, decided to steal from me, they did not know that I used a payment method that only has a $400.00 limit.  When they billed me the $279.80, it got noticed and when they tried to do it again, they were shut down!!!

It is a little like closing the barn door after the cows have all escaped, but the difference between $279.80 and $559.90 means I can eat this week! And, I plan to keep the barn door locked to these people. I am much relieved, but won't feel good until I get my money back.

I was also busy researching this companies Terms of Agreement.  When I got to the part of the agreement that deals with returns, I found interesting things.  #1, you have to request a number for returning an item and that request has to be within 60 days of the order date.  #2 If you have multiple orders to return, you will be charged a $10.00 restock fee. Bare in mind that if you have multiple jars to return (and you will because they like shipping product), only 1 of the jars can be opened otherwise, your return will not be accepted.

Skipping to #6, you are have to request the refund 60 days after the order date and you have to use the Return Merchandise Number within 7 days of it being given.  All the #'s that I am skipping are pretty much your basic stuff.  I am pointing out the particular #'s that could or will cause you grief.

Skipping to #18.  #18 claims that the 15 day promotional offer is that you receive a 2 month supply and the promotional trial will start on the initial order date.  Then it notes that you can be charged $139.90 every 60 days. This could be why I was charged for a second shipment--a shipment that I never got and that I didn't request and that my account refused to pay for!

At the end of #18, you get to the scary part of this agreement.  It says that cancellation of automatic shipment enrollment associated with the promotional offer prior to the endo of the 15 day period voids the 15 day trial period and you will be subject to the charge associated with the selected promotional offer.  Also, cancellations of the automatic shipments can be made at any time.  I believe this is why they tried to bill me one more time.

Be careful of this company and all it's names.  They don't care how you look, once they get their hooks into you, you are screwed.
