I ordered 2 Magicjacks for a 30 day free trail one evening by contacting their 1-800 number (1-800-897-8700). Gave them my information and a credit card number to secure my order.
The next morning as I usually do I checked my checking account online and to my amazment I had been charged 98.30 and 1.00 seperately by Magicjack!
What happened to a 30 day free trail? I contacted Magicjack via the internet and a live chat with a representative. For over one hour, closer to two hours I got no helpful information. They did not even know who I was, but that didn't stop them from billing my account fraudulently. I was told by a live representative to try back in about three hours to give their system time to update itself.
I called my bank, cancelled my credit card, and will now have to physically go to my local bank branch and sign an affidavit stating that I did not authorize these charges!
Magicjack is a great name for this product because the magically jack or rip you off!

Magicjack hard to deal with!

After one whole day of dealing with the chat representatives I got no where. They were rude most all of the time and it was certain they dud not care about my problem. Since my first report, thought I'd let you know I kept trying until late yesterday evening to no avail. This morning I finally got an agent to cancel the order, but he says 3 days to get charges off my account.
Very Important Info: Do Not use a Bank card (debit) even though they do not refuse them to secure an order, what they do not tell you is that your card will be charged the full amount for your FREE 30 day trail. Seems they only want to deal with credit cards; however that is not their fault for not telling you this just consumer ignorance. Meanwhile you should call your bank immediatly when any unauthorized charges appear, DO NOT WAIT! better to have them on your side .
