MagicJack althought we gave magic jack several weeks to transfer our number before our yearly serrvice ran out... They ignored requests to transfer number Nationwide

We had majic jack VOIP hone service for 2 years.. The service was good and basic.. This past march 2014 we made the choice to switch services, as we needed to phone international on a consistant basis.. This is where the deceptive practice and downright illegal activities started. We requested our number to be tansfered 3 weeks before our majicjack service was to expire.. Our new phone company says to us .. this process normally takes two days for the company to respond.. 2 days went by.. 4 days went by.. and one week.. we try to contact the old company (speaking to 5 employees via chat) and they begin to inform us that they will be unable to forward the number unless we pay another year.. We continued to inform them that our service with them was still active.. They said ok.. we will transfer the number.. another week goes by and still no transfer.. the new company sends us the records that they sent communication to magicjack, howerver with NO response from magic jack.. another week goes by and its now they day of expiration of the service.. and of course.. we are unable to transfer your number and they disconnect from us quickly.
