I found MedLife Plus by following an advertising link, from USA Today newspaper, which offered a free $50 Gap certificate if I purchased one of the services listed. The MedLife Plus website looked so professional, I never dreamed it was a ripoff so didn't check them out. They even sent very polite monthly notifications when the $19 was deducted from my credit card. Impressive!
When I needed to go to a dentist their referral process was very secretive. The MedLife person would only give me one referral for each phone call, and then only the address, not the dentist's name. Strange, so I visited the dentist office early.
At the dentist office, after some confusion the staff (which didn't speak English) asked to see the card and told me that they didn't participate in the MedLife program because it didn't "work [out?] very well." That's when I checked ML+ out and saw the rip-off reports.
I tried to get a refund of the approx. $150 I spent. After a delay and a second, angry e-mail from me, they gave me a credit of $19 and said the "management team" had rejected my request for the rest.
By the way, the ML+ agreement's fine print actually says they do not necessarily provide any service at all!

need input on positive comments medlife
AUTHOR: Debra - (U.S.A.)

I recently joined up with medlife today and read all the comments here on the company.
The prices are great but if in fact the company isnt for real it would be a ripoff.
People need assistance on high priced coverages
i hope this isnt a ripoff as ive read.
No one wants to be ripped off on the net and we see it all the time but there are federal laws to protect ripoff on the net if this is infact the case here.
I didnt get the email in reply as stated when joining up. so i dont have a card number as of yet, hopefully due to the office being closed i will call monday and ask of this.
If need be i can cancel this coverage and notify th credit union as well as medlife to cancel the membrship asap.
Will see what happens on monday.
Is there anyone who has had positive input on medlife and do they infact give coverag as stated?
