Menards ripoff warranty not honored Marinette Wisconsin

I have always liked Menards. I was very happy they were bringing one of their stores to this area. Now, I'm really dissapointed in them. My husband and I purchased a washer and dryer from them October 19th of last year. At that time we also purchased the extended warranty. October 23rd of this year the washer quit.

We immediately called them. They told us to call the repairman. We did. He told us to call Whirpool (the manufacturer). We did. They told us once the year was up it was no longer their warranty.

It was Menard's. Since then we've made probably 10 more calls. Around and around we go. We went to Menard's Friday and talked to the manager. He gave us twenty dollars for our inconvenience and said he would call back. He hasn't. I sure wouldn't recommend anyone buying an appliance from them anymore, unfortunately.
