I got my laser eye surgery done recently because they were offering a free all inclusive mexican trip. Come to find out what Mexican Paradise Getaways gave me to sign was not all their terms and conditions apparently. They said in their packet that we could choose 3 different destinations from the 6 available and 3 different departure dates and they would book which one was available. I received notice that we were booked for a destination that we did not choose and they told me that they would "try" to schedule our first choices but they were allowed to pick from all 6 destination places. Obviously, they never had any intention of sending us to the nicer of the 3 cities in Mexico that we chose. When I called in to complain, "stating that their brochure said nothing about them choosing from all 6 destinations", they told me it was on their website. Sure enough the information on their website is different than the initial packet I received. "SCAMMERS".

Today I received a call from some lady, telling me that I had to pay $150 per plane ticket for the airfare taxes. I told her no one had mentioned that and that this was supposed to be an all inclusive trip. When I told her that I made some calls and had someone checking on it, she became very defensive and rude and told me" well that won't matter, the call is going to come back to me and I'm going to tell them the same thing, you either pay it or you don't go". While I was trying to explain things to her, "that nothing about this promised trip is turning out to be what was promised", she continued to argue with me and was very unprofessional and rude. HER NAME IS COLLETTE. As of right now I have someone checking on the $150 taxes for airfare because they told me that should not happen.

Another thing I found out along the way is that if for some reason you can't make your trip, they charge your credit card the full amount for airfare...

Bottom line is they reel you in and hook you on false promises or mainly left out information. Then when you call to complain, their attitude is "oh you don't like it well I can cancel your trip". All of their customer service has been nothing but rude and unhelpful.

Mexico Paradise Getaways scam

I too am getting the same run around from this company. I have a question.
Who do you have checking on the air fair? There is nowhere on their web site or the certificate that I have that states we have to pay anything other than the refundable $100.00 and any expenses that we accrue, ie telephone charges, room service

In addition, I do not understand how they are going to charge your credit card, did you provide them your credit card information. We paid our $100.00 by check; they would not accept a credit card.
If you did, most major credit card companies (American express, visa, master card) have a 90-day period to challenge a charge. Please let me know how things turn out for you. I think by looking at all the reports, I am going to cancel our trip and ask for a refund by certified mail and then if I have any problems, I will take it to the Attorney General office.
