We ordered a truck from this dealership, after almost a year of looking. The salesman (Dan) called us to tell us there was a price increase coming and "we better put a deposit down now, or else".

We put down a $5000 deposit, and ordered the truck. We asked for and were given specific dates as to when the truck would be built and delivered, since we were going to put a custom sleeper on it. This gave us the time we needed to finance the rather large down payment and make final decisions on the sleeper.

3 weeks prior to the start date to build the truck, we called to make a last minute change. We were given a price for what the change would cost us (expected).
Then the salesman tells us that its too late, no changes can be made, because the manufacturer (kenworth) had decided to go ahead and build the truck early.

We told him that we were given exact dates, what happened? They knew we were having a custom sleeper built, why didnt they inform us of this change? No answer. Its not their problem, our truck is being delivered the last week of August -3 months earlier than expected!!-

We told them to cancel the order, we would not accept delivery of a vehicle that wasnt built to the specifications we wanted. We asked them to return our deposit, and we would start over with a new truck.
All, of a sudden the deposit became non-refundable. Something we were not told before. I double checked all the paperwork (1 page) we were given when we ordered the truck, and no mention of this being a non-refundable deposit.

I called the area manager, and explained our situation, he wasnt helpful. All he told us was that there is a second page to that order form, and thats where it states the policy on the deposit. We were not given a second page. I called the salesman and requested a copy of the famous 2nd page with our signatures on it from our file. The fax came with the page blank at the bottom where the signature goes. So, I called him back again and asked for the signed one, to which he replied " there isnt a signed copy". Thats because we were never given that page, on purpose, I suspect.

We still have not received our deposit back, and now we have to order another truck thru another dealer because I wont be caught dead dealing with these thieves again.
Stay as far as you can away from this dealership.
