Monarch Media Group AKA 411 Business 411 renewal scam Grand Rapids Michigan

This company is running a scam. From looking at other complaints on this website, I can tell that they have done this to many companies. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau of Western Michigan, and I would encourage others to do the same.

My story is not any different. I was called, asked to update info for our companies 411 listing, I was told it was a renewal. Come to find out, no one at my company ever set up a listing with them. Christine Grey refused to give me the name and date of the person at my company that allegedly set up this account. I told her I was not authorized to set up any new marketing programs. She said we have to pay because I verbally authorized the renewal. She played my the tape of myself. That's nice.

Bottom line; they can't charge us for a renewal of something no one here ever authorized to begin with.

Wicked evil scam. The company I work for wil never pay them.
