Musician's Friend Falsely Advertised RAM as Upgrade, Would Not Return, Reps. Insulted Me Kansas City Missouri

Purchased a 512MB RAM card for my Mac-Mini. Was sold/advertised as 'Upgrade...' but since Mac-Mini's come standard with minimum 512MB pre-installed and have no slot for a second card it was useless! I called M.F. and dealt with a customer service rep. who was annoying but seemed to take care of the problem after speaking with a supervisor and going over with me the information to include on the return slip.

I mailed it off with the information included on the slip and recieved it back tonight, no explanation! So, I called them up and got one rude, nasty jerk after another. In the computer, the rep. I had first spoken with entered into it that he had explained to me that the item was non-returnable! LIED!

I get a supervisor on the phone and he is just INCREDIBLE obnoxious and insulting. It's as if the guy took rude lessons. He challenges the 'Upgrade' advertisement so I tell him I'll direct him to the site but suddenly he comes up with it on his own and reads it back to me...'UPGRADE YOUR MAC-MINI WITH THESE HIGH QUALITY RAMS...'. DUH. 'Uh, but we can't take it back!' He's such a jerk I hang up with him, call back...

This guy is calmer seems more reasonable than the others but when I start to challenge his 'NO NO NO ' gets all snide with me and puts me on hold several times. Comes back with a quick 'i-cant-take-it-back'. He says, 'If it was unopened I'd take it back.' 'It IS unopened.'
Silence...
'I can't take it back because it's an Apple product and they don't allow us to do that, it's part of the 'policy'.'So, I say 'How come?'.
Silence...
'Well, I can't take it back because it's been too long.'
'Take it back because it's not the product it was advertised to be.'
'No.'

CLICK.

DONE.

PERIOD.
Over and out... I will never, ever, EVER do business with these people just as a matter of principle. If they had spoken to me in person the way they did to me on the phone then they would have had a serious problem on their hands because I would not have left until I had a check for $80 in one hand or a brand new, UPGRADE QUALITY RAM card JUST because they were such jerks.
