My wife and I were sold a bill of good by Lorne ?. Very polished and nice. We bit the hook. It was supposed to be 2.5 Years of coaching through a series of coaches and stages for $1798.50

After 6 months of coaching we were on to Stage 2 Coaching, but on the 2nd session the Coach disputed everything the previous coach told us to do. The first coach said pay the minimum of your credit card debt. So we did. The stage 2 coach said don't do that, pay the full amount.

When I told the 1st coach my idea of restructuring our debt at a lower interest rate lender, the 1st coach Margie said to wait that Money4Life was about to sign an agreement with Discover. When I asked our 2nd coach about this he said they've been talking about this for years and it had not happen yet and did not know if it would ever happen.

The second coach said he had been through bankruptcy a couple of times and while hard, it really helped him out. He leaned toward recommending this instead of any more sessions.

Very disappointed. Very frustrated. Very let down. What a Scam!

I have tried to talk with someone at the company. They have not responded. I will be sending them a certified letter refuting the remaining monies on the contract since they have breached the contract and placed us in undue stress.

If any attorney's want a good class action lawsuit this may be a good one. I have also contacted Focus on the Family since they recommended this company.

I will be sending letters to Justice Department, Bankruptcy Court, several watchdog agencies, Discover, et al, 60 Minutes and anyone else I can think of that will put these disingenious people out of business.

They really out to be ashamed and punished.  Thank you.

Almost Scammed by These People

AUTHOR: dmlmjd422 - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, October 14, 2015

I was contacted by someone yesterday after filling out a form for rent to own homes online,

Her name was Alyssa.  Very nice & polished.  I bought everything she said hook, line & sinker.  She told me it was $59.95 for 30 months & that at the end of the 30 months, my boyfriend & I will have improved our credit to buy a house & have money for a down payment & savings built up.  I told her I was working with a credit repair company & she said that doesn't work because the collection agencies take it off your credit report but then sell it to another agency who puts it right back on.  She also said you have 3 days to cancel a contract.

Paid the $9.95 fee to get the 1st coaching appointment set up for this Friday night (yesterday was Tuesday) with my boyfriend & I.

When the appointment was set up with another guy named Bryan, he told me the total cost was $1798.95 & if we cancelled before completing the program we would have to pay whole bunch of money (I forget the amount).

I was all excited about it when I talked to my boyfriend about it last night.

Thank goodness, reality hit today.  I had lunch with a friend that works with my boyfriend.  She said the company has a free financial planning service.

When I called Money4Life to cancel the program & I told them I was canceling because we get the service for free through my boyfriend's work.  They said what the offer goes beyond financial planning, blah, blah, blah.  The lady, Jenny got pissed when I told her & insisted she cancel the program for me.  I told her I was within the 3 days to cancel. I told her we can't afford to pay $59.95 for something we can get for free.  She said we can't afford it because we don't know how to budget our money but their program will show us how to do that, blah, blah, blah.  I told Jenny she had no idea what my situation is.  The only reason my credit is bad is due to some old medical bills.  She got even more pissed when I told her I wasn't paying for something I can get for free or pay for something for 30 months that I may only need for 6 or 12 months.  She said their door was always open to me blah, blah, blah & that I would be refunded the $9.95 in 7-10 business days & would receive an email confirming my cancellation of the program.

After I got off the phone with them, I checked & found rip off reports for Money 4 Life.  So releived I cancelled before it was too late.

I also checked out Dave Ramsey.  The only difference I see is that Dave Ramsey doesn't have an app & coaches.  Dave Ramsey is free if you get the books from someone who's in the program.  I'm not holding my breath for the $9.95 refund but sooooo glad I'm only out 10 bucks at most.
