MVI Marketing, Mini Vacations ripoff Tampa Florida

I paid Mini Vacations a total of $150 for vacations that we have never received back.

We took one vacation that we sent in a $50 deposit for and we sent registered mail (an additional $8.29) all of the appropriate documentation to get our deposit back. We mailed it 02/03/06, which is apparently the day that the company shut down.

I called the numbers I had 813-621-1777 and 813-621-1400, but both had been disconnected. I then tried 800-705-5578, which is the number that the new company Great Incentives is using. I played around until I guessed an extension that worked and spoke to someone telling me that Mini Vacations had shut down and taken everyone's money. He took my name and number and said that he would see if he could get my money back. I got the impression that he was not going to do anything about it, but just wanted to get me off the phone, so he was being nice.

What can we do to get our money back?!?
