MWI Privacy Plus MWI Connections MWIHomeswork MWI Essentials ripoff when you call to cancel they bill you anyway probably because the person taking the cancelation doesn't speak english saying they didn't get the call ripoff deception Omaha Nebraska

I called to cancel a trial membership and spoke to a lady that had such a sever accent (phillipino I think) it took me twenty minutes to get her to understand "canel my account".

I had never received an information pack on this company as I was supposed to (ironic-they are a "privacy assurance company") and to this DAY I still haven't. (I ordered on March 14, 2003)
They billed me anyway--made me bounce checks (mortage, car payments, gas and electric...you know-important stuff) and I had over $200 in bank fees for NSF.

According to thier "overdraft specialist" (fancy term for I got stuck making this call) I wouldn't get the money back due to the terms at the bottom of the website. WWW.PRIVACYPLUS.COM--please go there yourselves, see if YOU find it--unless they used a white font color it's not there on my screen.

They also sent some bogus report to the Dispute Resolution Coordinator at the Better Business Bureau in Omaha saying how sorry they were that they couldn't help...boohoohoo. I am trying to track down the complaint (#1052210) to see if the BBB ever even got it or if Privacy Plus is blowing smoke up my skirt.

I can't afford these fees. I DID get the $139.95 back but the other $200+ I was told that I wouldn't get because I wasn't big enough to take on a corperation by myself (According to Lindsey Rookstoll the OVERDRAFT SPECIALIST.

Please help if you can. If anyone has any horror stories about this company please send them to me at Kristasweber@yahoo.com and maybe we can start a class action suit or something.
