So, they advertise this promotion "$5000 guaranteed trade-in"....  The details of the offer. which cannot be located online (I clicked so many different ways), require you to purchase a brand-new, mid-upper range vehicle.

The offer does not apply to more basic models.  The offer does not apply to anything other than about 6 brand new vehicle styles....

The best part, and here is where the misrepresentation is.......they do not give you the "new car incentives" that everyone else purchasing those vehicles would receive anyway -- with or without a trade.

When I asked about the available incentives, the finance manager replied "well you can't receive the $5K if you receive the manufacturer's incentive".

I understand that the "guaranteed trade-in" is going to pull from the profit, but don't make it sound so altruistic that "Naples Nissan wants to help you" by clearing out older vehicles and shipping them overseas.

The only thing you are doing is taking the manufacturer incentive and giving it to me a different way, which if I don't use the "guaranteed trade-in", you would still have offered me about $2k for my car, plus the dealer incentives.

Misrepresenting and criticizing me for asking about the offer made me feel that this is a dealership that I simply couldn't trust.

All That And BOGUS ADD-ON Fees!

AUTHOR: The Dog - (United States)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 28, 2018

The FACT they disclose to the world on their website they are playing the bogus, add-on, phoney fee con-game says it all! It does NOT cost $200 to prepare registration paperwork and $800 for their PURELY BOGUS dealer fee is nothing more than a very obvious CON-GAME which you were smart enough to avoid. They weren't going to "give" you anything. The prices of the cars which they said "qualified" for the $5000 were padded in price to accommodate their "wonderfully generous offer". In all probability there was also a stipulation you must finance the car thru them in which case they would have added extra percentage points to equal what they "gave" you! The Sleazy American Car Business is like no other aspect of retail. This business is top heavy with slimeballs and pond scum who's ONLY purpose in life is to DECEIVE and DEFRAUD. That's the Sleazy American Car Business for you...get out the puke bucket!
