This place is ALL about scamming when it comes to financial aid. I have been waiting 5 weeks for a tuition refund in the amount of $1525.00. When I have inquired to the financial aid department about when I might be receiving the money that IS MINE, I get no answer.  The check has not even been printed. They are holding money that isn't theirs and can take their sweet time sending me the money. Every quarter they receive financial aid money, and they do not disburse left over money to students for 4-5 weeks after the quarter begins. (they get THEIR money withing the first week of each quarter) Just think about all the "student financial aid" money they get to earn interest on 4 times a year!! What a scam...I have checked and no other place "holds" money for that long. This is scamming their students, and all they care about is paying for their annoying commercials.

tell your senator to vote against funds for these for-profit scam schools

AUTHOR: Joe - (U.S.A.)

I think Americans are generally fed up with higher education.

The obama administation is full of a lot of big-mouthed academics and theri Socialist theories which do not work in the real world. These people are so out of touch, they have no idea how ordinary people live or even that there is a Depression.

The only thing worse than a degreed expert on everything who has no practical experience in the area  they are supposed to be an expert in are RIP OFFS by these online scams and con games that purport to  be colleges, trade schools and universities.

Virginia College had the nerve to try and charge me $80,000 for a Paralegal Certification. Even the head of that department told me I would not be able to find work with one unless I had a bachelor's degree to go with it.

The same thing happened to other family members who wanted to be Paralegals and they saw what a scam it was...

WELL, NOW YOU CAN STOP IT AND FIGHT BACK!

YOU CAN CALL BOTH OF YOUR SENATORS AND TELL THEM THAT YOU DO NOT WANT FOR-PROFIT TRADE SCHOOLS TO CONTINUE TO GET FEDERAL FUNDING OR BE ELIGIBLE  FOR FEDERAL STUDENT LOANS AND YOU WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT INCLUDES THESE SO-CALLED ONLINE COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITIES WHICH ARE REALLY JUST DIPLOMA MILLS.

AND TELL OTHER PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN VICTIMIZED BY THESE SCAM SCHOOLS TO CALL THEIR SENATORS TOO!

STOP THE SHAM SCHOOL SCAM RIP OFF!
