National American University National American University Withheld more than what i owed from my taxes and are still hounding me for money i do not owe, even without responding to me, or giving me the assistance and education that i was trying to attain. National American University is a complete farce.  I have had nothing but issues with them.  I first tried to work with them and they would never return my calls, communicate on the blackboard, return emails, or any sort of contact for my school work.  I needed to be taught, not directed to a forum.  They never seem to have a lack of time for me now that they think i owe them money.  I did not receive any sort of education from them whatsoever, but their fees just keep adding on to the money that i never owed them in the first place.  Once, while talking to one of the so-called financial idiots to try to collect from me, she even told me about a class that I owe them for, that i had not even signed up for.  I suppose it was in the natural progression of the course.  Anyway, they were able to withhold my taxes two years ago and kept over 5,000 dollars.  It was my understanding at that point that my nightmare was over.  But, now i am getting calls recently that the unpaid balance which i didn't even know about has been collecting interest and i now supposedly owe them 8,000 dollars again.  I so upset that the federal government even allows such a scam to exist.  Someone please give me some advice and help me know what to do about this.  If i could have afforded an attorney, i would have gotten one the first time.  Ugh!  So people end up with no education, no help from this school, and they keep the financial aid money, and tell you that you still owe extra on top of that, plus outrageous interest.  Can you believe that crap like this happens in America?
